Zip is easy to use and save surgical time during closure. Zip can also be beneficial in creating what we call retention strength and allowing the incisional scars to heal with optimal cosmesis. During incisional healing time, Zip will naturally peel off rather than removing nonabsorbable sutures like we’ve done in the past.
