Dr. Ariel Palanca, M.D.

About me:

Dr. Palanca received her undergraduate and medical degrees with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School. She subsequently completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Palanca is dual fellowship trained in both Trauma (AOTrauma Fellowship – Flinders Medical Center, Adelaide, Australia) and Foot & Ankle specialities (Oakland Bone & Joint Specialists, Roger Mann M.D. – Oakland, California).

She served as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University Medical Center in the Foot & Ankle Division until she joined the team at Arch Health Medical Group in Poway and Escondido, California. She specializes in injuries to the lower extremity, sports related injuries, and is trained in minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and ankle replacement.

Dr. Palanca annually serves in global humanitarian aid locations and has been published in dozens of peer-reviewed publications.
